Ispo Facto

In simple terms, ‘ipso facto’ means that a certain fact or action automatically leads to another consequence or conclusion. It is a way of saying that if something is true or has happened, then something else logically follows as a result.

For example, if someone is born in a particular country, then ipso facto, they have a claim to citizenship in that country. Or, if someone is identified as the person who ate the last slice of pizza, then ipso facto, they are the one responsible for ordering another one.

Applying this concept to specific situations of RR, if the necessary pipes for a water tank were not present, then ipso facto, the water tank cannot be commissioned. Therefore, it would be appropriate to conduct a public inquiry to understand why professionals and regulatory bodies failed to ensure the proper construction of the tank. Similarly, in another one of the RR matters, if the tax authority is aware of deductible expenses but doesn’t consider them when calculating profits or losses, then ipso facto, they are either highly incompetent or engaged in illegal activities. In such a case, an investigation should be conducted to determine the truth behind their actions.”

This approach can be adopted in other matters of RR, and used by other litigants where similar matters have occurred.

Of course, the response of those who are guilty of multiple crimes would be to continue ignoring, acting dumb, and behaving like lunatics.
